TriAxis Global Pty Ltd (ABN 49 693 477 922) handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. We have chosen to operate under the Act regardless of the small-business turnover exemption, because we contract to Commonwealth agencies and hold personnel and operational information from clients in regulated and Defence-adjacent settings.

What personal information we collect.

We collect only the personal information we need to respond to enquiries and to deliver our services.

Through the Contact form on this website, we collect: your name, your organisation, your role, your email address, your phone number where you choose to provide it, the enquiry type you select, and the content of your enquiry.

In the course of confidential commercial engagements, we may also hold contact details for individuals at client organisations, and personnel or operational information shared with us by the client under the engagement letter for that work. We do not collect sensitive information as defined in the Australian Privacy Principle 3 unless it is necessary for a specific engagement, and only then under the client’s authority.

We do not run online courses, payment processing, marketing automation, third-party advertising or referral programmes. We do not collect credit card details, dates of birth, or social media identifiers.

How we collect personal information.

Personal information is collected directly from you when you complete the Contact form, send us an email, telephone the firm, or share information in the course of an engagement. We do not buy personal information from data brokers.

Why we collect personal information.

We collect personal information to respond to enquiries, to deliver the services contracted under our engagement letters, to comply with our legal and professional obligations, and to maintain a record of the engagement for the period reasonably required.

How we use and disclose personal information.

Personal information submitted through this website is used solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not on-sell, share or use enquiry data for any other purpose.

Engagement information is used in accordance with the terms of the engagement letter for that work. We do not disclose engagement information to any third party except where the client authorises it in writing, where it is necessary for the engagement, or where disclosure is required by law.

We do not send marketing communications and we do not operate a mailing list.

Storage and protection of personal information.

Personal information is held in business-grade Australian-tenanted Microsoft 365 systems with access restricted to authorised personnel. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Where engagement information is the subject of specific client requirements (for example, sovereign-only storage or cleared-personnel-only access), those requirements are set out in the engagement letter and applied to the work.

Cross-border disclosure.

Enquiry data submitted through the Contact form is processed briefly by a Microsoft Azure Function in the East Asia region (Microsoft datacentres in Hong Kong or Singapore) before being forwarded to the firm’s Australian-tenanted Microsoft 365 mailbox. Enquiry data is not stored in the East Asia region; the Function exists only to receive the form submission and dispatch it via Microsoft Graph. We take reasonable steps to ensure Microsoft handles personal information in transit in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles, in accordance with Australian Privacy Principle 8.

We do not routinely disclose personal information overseas beyond this transit. Other systems holding engagement information are Australian-tenanted.

Retention of enquiry data.

Enquiry data submitted through the Contact form is retained for the period reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry and to maintain a record of the engagement. Engagement information is retained in accordance with the engagement letter and our professional record-keeping obligations.

Access and correction.

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you by contacting us at connect@triaxisglobal.com.au. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We respond to access and correction requests within a reasonable timeframe.

Complaints.

Privacy complaints should be made to us in the first instance, at connect@triaxisglobal.com.au. We will investigate the complaint and respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (www.oaic.gov.au).

Cookies and analytics.

This website does not use third-party cookies, web analytics or tracking at launch. Web fonts are currently served by Google Fonts; this is the only third-party request made by the site and is disclosed in our Information security page. The firm intends to self-host fonts in a future build to remove the dependency. If privacy-preserving analytics are added in the future, this page will be updated before that change is made.

Changes to this page.

We may update this page from time to time. The current version supersedes any earlier version. Material changes will be noted on the page.
